Love Looks Like Something

It always feels awkward to me to ask for donations, even for a Christian cause - especially for aChristian cause. Did Jesus ask for money? I think not, but he didn't eat air either. We knowfrom scripture there were followers of Jesus that God used to meet the material needs of himand his disciples. So, I've come to rethink why we, as a charity, do what we do - i.e. raisemoney for projects and ministry...

Hidden Roots

I was born and raised in a small community on the coast of the northernmost part of California. It was known for its huge redwood trees that grew to be hundreds of feet tall, dwarfing the cars of tourists who pulled off the road to stare at these magnificent giants. An Original Poem

We Are the Apple of His EyeWe are the apple of His eye,Children of the King;He brings joy into our lives,Gives us songs to sing. The world lives in sorrow,We live in love; The world’s focus is here,Our focus is above. Where our King sitsForever on His throne; We are His artwork,A masterpiece to God only known. We are His workmanship,Written in His Word;A melodious song,Sweetest ever heard. We are the apple of His eye,Children of His grace,Our lives entwined with His,God’s truth we firmly embrace.By: Carol Poole

I haven’t counted them but I would be happy for anyone to fact check it for the simple fact that reading God‘s...

His name is Vamsi (wom’ see). Here’s some of Vamsi’s story. Both sets of his grandparents were lepers. As a result, they were outcasts in their society. No one would hire them, so their only source of income was begging. Vamsi’s parents, though...
