AHEC Connects
Through creative advocacy and the building of long-term relationships, we help make connections between people with great compassion and children with great need. Our partners trust Apple of His Eye Charity to tell their stories and raise awareness of their work, so that their efforts on behalf of the vulnerable can continually expand and improve. We are honored to fill this role and help break the cycle of poverty one child and family at a time.
Partners Respond
Our partners are immersed in the life of a local church and in the community as a whole. Their mission is to provide hands-on care for vulnerable children and lead them toward a hopeful future. The national staff, social workers, and volunteers intimately understand the struggles faced by their communities and the children in their care. Apple of His Eye Charity’s partnership model leaves the day-to-day decisions about the children’s care in the hands of those who know them best. Our partners are free to respond to the children’s needs in authentic and flexible ways.
Sponsors Support
As a sponsor, you are a key member of this team! While you may not be physically in Rwanda, your presence there is felt and real. Your involvement makes it possible for our local partners to do the daily, on-the-ground, personal work of sharing God’s love and providing holistic care to each and every sponsored child. It is through your act of kindness and generosity that precious lives are being forever transformed for generations to come.
Muzima Sponsorship Model
Poverty has the capacity to impede the physical growth of children, obstruct their social and emotional progress, and make them vulnerable to abuse and exploitation. Beyond being commonly perceived as a mere scarcity of resources, another distressing aspect is the absence of hope.
By choosing to become a sponsor, you’re giving children who were once born into a life of pain and poverty access to education, opportunity, and hope for a better future. Your generous gift goes directly towards feeding, clothing, and educating precious lives who have been abandoned and left to survive life on their own.
You are helping to break the cycle of generational poverty.
The kids are encouraged to attend Saturday Muzima Program day, where children not only enjoy meals and engage in games but also receive teachings about Christ. Additionally, they will get the opportunity to attend an annual Christian camp, fostering their spiritual growth
Muzima Sponsorship Model
Our sponsorship model is one sponsor for $50 at month per child for students in preschool through 6th grade (Nursery -primary 6th) and due to higher secondary education fees, we have co-sponsorship model for $100 per month ($50 each sponsors) for students in 7th-12th grade (Senior 1 -Senior 6th).
